Sydney siege: hostages taken by self-styled preacher of "Islamic state"

In addition to taking hostages at the Lindt Café in Martin Place, the terrorist had been accused of accessory to murder.

According to the Australian police, which has decided to reveal information about the "Lindt café" terrorist, he is a self-proclaimed preacher of "Islamic state".  His name is Sheik Man Haron Monis.

The terrorist has another crime in his record; earlier he had been accused of accessory to murder.

As it was previously reported, the terrorist seized several dozen hostages in the "Lindt" café in Sydney. He demands were talks with Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbott and the flag of the "Islamic state" been brought.
