Ukraine to sign two agreements with NATO

The Ukrainian government will sign an agreement with NATO on military and technical cooperation and a memorandum on cooperation within the "Partnership for Peace" program, announced the Prime Minister Yatsenyuk.

"The Ukrainian government and NATO sign an agreement on cooperation in the area of ​​support. This is a support agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and NATO, providing for the implementation of four trust projects with NATO, including military cooperation, communications, new communications and information technology," – announced PM Yatsenyuk at a meeting of the government.

He also said that "the government had decided to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Ukraine and NATO on communications and information regarding the cooperation in the spheres of consultation, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance as part of NATO's "Partnership for Peace" program.

Five NATO trust funds, created to help Ukraine, began their work in late 2014.
