Russia officially nationalizes Poroshenko's plant in Crimea

President Poroshenko no longer owns a plant in Sevastopol?
"Sevastopol Sea Plant is no longer President Poroshenko's ownership. It is now officially registered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities of the Russian Federation as a state property.

The Ukrainian enterprise was re-registered on March 19, 2015, entitled as State Unitary Enterprise "Sevastopol Sea Plant," report journalists from "Scheme" TV program.

According to official data, 89% of the plant's shares were owned by the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

On March 1, the new "government" of Sebastopol confiscated 13 companies in the city, including "Sevastopol Sea Plant," belonging to the Ukrainian president, say the journalists.

Other enterprises owned by the President have also recently met difficulties operating in Russia. Thus, on the eve, on April 1, Russian police blocked the work of "Roshen" factory in Lipetsk. Later the factory resumed its work.

Earlier, the "Investment Capital Ukraine" (ICU group), which manages assets of Ukraine's president, reported that it already has interested investors from the US, Italy and Russia, but talks about a specific agreement had not been made yet.
