"Gazprom" complains about low volumes of gas purchase by Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructs the head of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller to provide uninterrupted supply of gas to the Donbas. This request has been made by Putin during a bilateral meeting.

"We need to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas for all the partners, including southeast Ukraine," said the Russian president according to Kremlin's press service.

At the same time, the head of "Gazprom" has complained about low volumes of gas purchase by Ukraine.

"Now, we see that the level of our gas purchase by Ukraine is very low, which is caused by industrial downturn in Ukraine and rising energy prices. For example, last year the level of our gas supply to this country accounted to over 14 billion cubic meters of gas. At the level of "take or pay" – 41.6 billion, " – said Miller.
