Prosecutor General: investigation has questions to Kolomoiskyi

Shokin: Kolomoyskyi should come to General Prosecutor’s Office
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has questions related to criminal offenses to the former head of Dnipropetrovsk oblast' state administration and oligarch Igor Kolomoiskyi.

This has been announced by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin in an interview to LB.ua.

The investigation is carried out in the case of the attempted assassination of the lawyer Sergiy Karpenko in 2005. Then, he got three stabbed wounds, but survived and left Ukraine.

The events took place during the conflict around the plant "Dniprospecstal.'"

According to Victor Shokin, Kolomoyskyi should come to the General Prosecutor's Office to clarify the circumstances.

"It is better to come and tell us how it was," – said the Prosecutor General.

It is reported, that the Ministry of Internal Affairs checks possible involvement of Igor Kolomoisky to attempted murder of Karpenko. This is what allegedly said the Ministry in response to a request from MP and former journalist Mustafa Nayem.
