But the OSCE mission's activities are still hindered.

Parties generally respect the ceasefire
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) reports that both sides of the confrontation in eastern Ukraine withdrew most of their heavy weapons in the Donbas.

But, the observers are still hindered, according to the deputy chief of mission Alexander Hug, cited by Interfax-Ukraine.

"As of today parties of the conflict withdrew most of the heavy weapons. Nevertheless, observers cannot definitively confirm this, since they are still faced with the cases of interference into their activities," – said Mr Hug at a briefing on March 19.

On March 16, the SMM in Ukraine recorded the violation of the ceasefire in the area of Donetsk airport. Then, the heavy artillery was used.

The SMM has documented at least 50 explosions near the new terminal of Donetsk airport. This is stated in the published report of the mission on March 6.
