Groysman signs Rada's decree recognizing parts of Donbas as occupied

Rada officially recognizes parts of Donbas as occupied
On March 23, the Verkhovna Rada's Speaker, Volodymyr Groysman has signed a resolution on the recognition of separate territories of Donetsk and Lugansk oblast' as temporarily occupied.

The Parliament adopted the resolution on March 17. A list of the occupied territories has been defined earlier by a document on territories, which would have a "special" governance.

Before the vote for the draft, the words about "Russian occupation forces" had been included in the text.

The document comes into force the day following its publication.
