SBU suspects its former head of fueling terrorism in Ukraine
The SBU suspects its former head, Alexander Yakymenko of committing a series of serious crimes, including financing terrorism and supplying weapons to Donbas militants.

"We suspect the former SBU head, Yakymenko of financing terrorism and providing material support to terrorists, namely weapons. We mean the delivery of machine guns, ammunition and grenades to the region of Azov Sea in May last year," – announced the head of the Central Investigation Department at SBU, Vasyl' Vovk.

On March 31, the SBU has provided evidence of Yakymenko's illegal activity. His signature is left on the documents, authorizing illegal activities.

Earlier, the SBU head, Valentyn Nalyvaychenko announced that the main suspect in the case of Maidan protesters' shooting is his predecessor, former head of the SBU, Alexander Yakymenko.
