"Naftogaz" has repeatedly stressed that "Gazprom's" gas supplies to the occupied Donbas do not meet the contract.
This has been announced by the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, since the Russian side sees it as a "debt" from Ukraine.
As it was earlier reported, "Naftogaz Ukraine" had repeatedly stressed that "Gazprom's" gas supplies to the occupied Donbas do not meet the contract, since they cannot be confirmed (via measuring stations "Prokhorivka" and "Platovo"). Accordingly, Ukraine does not intend to pay for the gas supplies.
"There is a real debt from Ukraine over the gas supplies going to southeastern Ukraine. There are two ways. Either this will be non-judicial procedure and two commercial companies ("Gazprom" and "Naftogaz" – Ed.) agree between themselves and there is payment. Or, this issue will be resolved in court," – commented Minister Novak the situation on a Russian TV channel.Source: ZN.UA
