Dollar in Russia reached historic level of 40 rubles

Earlier the Euro exceeded 50 rubles at the auction of the Moscow stock exchange for the first time in history.

The dollar in Russia has reached a historic level of 40 rubles
On Oct. 6, at the auction of the Moscow stock exchange, the dollar has reached a new historical marker in 40 Russian rubles.


To the opening of trading, the dollar was up 8 kopecks to 40.04 ruble, Euro or 22 kopecks to 50.15 rubles. The bi-currency basket price rose 14 kopecks to 44.6 rubles.

The Central Bank shifted the boundary of the currency corridor 10 kopecks up to 35.5 - 44.5 rubles.

Earlier, it was reported that the Euro for exceeded 50 rubles the first time in history.

Recall, according to one of the scenarios of economic development that are being discussed in the government of Russian Federation, Russian economy may fall to 10% of GDP, and the dollar may fly up to 48 rubles.
