Canada to provide $ 52 million for Ukrainian businesses

Some investments will go to support agricultural business.

Ed Fast believes grain production’s support is crucial for Ukraine
Canada will provide additional $ 52 million for Ukraine to support a number of projects.

"Today, I announced that Canada would provide additional $ 52 million dollars to Ukraine's technical needs in various projects. This money should strengthen the economic situation in Ukraine," – said the Minister of International Trade of Canada Ed Fast at a joint press conference with the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius.

The Minister said that some investments should go to support the SMEs involved in dairy and grain productions.

"Taking into account that Ukraine has had a record grain harvest during the previous year, such assistance will be very relevant," – announced Ed Fast.

Earlier, Minister Abromavicius announced that deregulation is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
