10-12 million Ukrainian may get subsidies

Nearly 4 million families, which is 10-12 million people will receive subsidies due to a sharp increase in utility rates in Ukraine. 

The number of those who need subsidies will grow
The Government of Ukraine will allocate UAH 25 billion for subsidies for its citizens, announced the PM Yatsenyuk.

During the conference with the heads of regional administrations, the Prime Minister said that currently 1.2 million families receive subsidies.

"We expect this figure will rise to 4 million families, which is 10 to 12 million of citizens."

PM Yatsenyuk has confirmed that the government had introduced a new system of subsidies.[article_attached position="1"]

"We have made a maximum simplification. You do not need to stand in lines; you do not need to fill in a declaration with 90 questions. There are only 15 left. You do not need to bring certificates or declarations. You will be sent home one-page declaration; you complete it and send it back. The social service will itself allocated a subsidy," – announced the PM Yatsenyuk.

Earlier, the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said that the reform of subsidies in Ukraine suggests that real but not accrued income will be considered.
